Insight into Acceptance

Insight into Acceptance
Abbey Courchaine

A man thinks it would be neat to have a wolf as a pet. He manages to get one through the Internet.When he first meets his wolf pup. He likes the way the pup looks and also surprised how much it looks like a regular dog.

The first night the wolf pup howls the entire night. The man is completely annoyed. He has never heard any other puppies howling in this way. He wants to train the wolf pup to be more like his other dogs. The training doesn’t and help the wolf continues to howl and the man continues to seethe. The wolf doesn’t obey like his poodle or retriever. The man is angry, always annoyed with his disobedient loud wolf.

One day an old friend comes to visit. He hears the wolf pup’s howl and is entranced. He tells the man how lucky he is to able to hear the wolf song each night. The man never thought of it that way. He begins to look at wolf differently.

Main Morals:

* you cannot make a wolf a dog it’s a wolf

* you shouldn’t get mad a wolf for be itself and doing wolf things.

* once you recognize you cannot force it to be what it’s not. You may be able to see the beauty in what it is.
